Looking for new team members? Try Triage

Finding new talent for your team can be a lot of work; writing job descriptions, managing adverts on job sites, fielding enquiries and combing through CVs can feel like a full time role. Triage can take all of the drama out of recruitment, by recommending diverse applicants from a range of different backgrounds who are a good fit for your business.

What is Triage?

Triage provides employability and education programmes and support for those who are currently unemployed. According to Triage, they have helped 7,907 learners gain 12,392 qualifications since 2011, and have helped 52,515 people into employment since 1999.

Triage started working within the North East of England in 2011 as part of the start of their Work Programme, and currently offer employability training in Scotland and England. In November 2025, they celebrated 15 years of supporting people and organisations within the Tees Valley. In March of this year, they opened a new office in Bishop Auckland, which will serve those in County Durham.

In the North East, Triage currently delivers their Connect to Work program. This supports individuals with health conditions and disabilities to find employment opportunities that work for them. Connect to Work is available in Durham, Gateshead and Sunderland. Triage also operates as a subcontractor in Newcastle, and North Tyneside.

They have a number of certifications, are a Disability Confident Leader, a Living Wage Employer, and have been accredited with Cyber Essentials.

How can Triage help grow your business?

Triage works with businesses, organisations and charities across England and Scotland by offering them a no-cost recruitment service. This service is government funded, and is designed to help get individuals from the local area into jobs where they can thrive. For businesses, that means less time spent searching for the right candidate, and more time with talented applicants that are suitable for the role.

For existing employees, Triage is also available to help your business train and develop their skills. Through their accredited training business,  they can educate new employees or upskill existing staff. This also includes sector specific training, such as digital skills, business admin and support services.

Triage offers both their in-person and online skills programmes, including a Management Development Programme. This bootcamp is designed to support skill gaps that local businesses have been struggling with, and expand the skill sets of team leaders and managers. This programme includes training on people management, conflict resolution and technology.

When you work with Triage, you’re supporting local candidates who are enthusiastic about new opportunities, and working hard to regain their financial independence. This supports the growth of your business, as well as the development of your home and community.

The Transcendit Way

Transcendit understand that when you choose to work with us, whether we're taking care of your IT, app or web development, you're trusting us with part of your business. So whether we're looking after your computers, phone systems or servers we always do things 'the Transcendit way'.

The whole of our team adhere to the same values, beliefs and policies - the principles that were written when Transcendit first formed in 2000. Whether you come to us for cloud services or recovery backup you can be confident that you'll always receive the same excellent service.

The Transcendit way outlines how we do business; following the same straightforward principles with every client and customer, regardless of how big or small they may be.

That means we get to know you and your business. We offer you a friendly, professional and efficient service, and we'll always be honest with you.
We understand that not everybody speaks fluent IT, so we try to explain things in a way that is simple and clear. We always spend as much time as is necessary explaining things to you.
If you need to talk to us about something, no matter how insignificant, we are only ever a phone call away – and we’re never too busy to make you a cup of tea and have a sit down with you in person.
We understand how frustrating it can be when things are late. When we schedule an appointment with you, we are there when you’re expecting us. If something prevents us from getting there, we always call you in advance to let you know.
Sometimes things can go wrong, but we never lie to you or try to cover something up. If things go askew we tell you what’s happened and how we plan to prevent it affecting your business.
We want you to continuously benefit from working with us. We regularly discuss your business and make suggestions for improving systems and processes wherever we can – but we never try to push you into a purchase.
When we quote a fixed price, that's always the amount we charge – you won’t find any nasty surprises on a bill from us. If you are paying by time and materials, we inform you if our approximations could change.
We understand the importance of privacy for your business and your customers. We respect the confidentiality of your data, and we will never pass on your information to third parties.
We appreciate it when you take the time to give us feedback. A system called CustomerSure records our client's responses, so you can trust that our reviews are from real people.
